While Elise regrets her wish and is looking for a way to defy the contract (with the pocket mirror), Henri believes it's for the best for Goldia to be taken away by the demon. On it, he reveals he's aware of Elise's contract with the Strange Boy. Henri is the one speaking on said record.

Based on the small hints spread throughout the game, it can be assumed that Henri appears to have a slightly sinister personality, being able to talk to the dead and claiming he would take the demon's hand in full commitment. Unlike his younger twin sister, Henri had not been hexed by his mother's contract with the demon however, he was still heavily affected by the instability of his home, and decided to make a contract of his own with the "Strange Boy" in order to escape the burdens of the Heilige family.
